When I was young I spent a lot of time drawing, painting and making up stories. Now that I am grown up, I spend my time drawing, painting and writing stories. I guess not much has changed.
After graduating from The University of the Arts, I attended The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. It was then that I knew what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
In the over 13 picture books I have illustrated, I have always added an animal whether there was one in the story or not because animals make the pictures more fun. I like the whimsy in life and want to share that fun with others.
My paintings have been exhibited in many Juried Shows in the Philadelphia area and in the Pacific Northwest.
I am an active member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
I live at Sandy Point, WA with my husband Hugh and a one eyed black cat named Riley.
